Ocular proptosis is easy to recognize. It basically looks like the eyeball has popped out of the socket. The conjunctiva can also become swollen and injected. Since the eyelids are unable to close over the proptosed globe, the conjunctiva and cornea will dry out and appear leathery.

What should a seizure look like for a beagle?
A seizure can look like anything. Bloodwork will usually be normal unless they get into something toxic. Make sure there is nothing around the house she could have gotten into. If you don’t find anything and she doesn’t seem to be improving very soon, call your vet. There is medication that can be used to prevent future seizures.
