Goats with Floppy Kid Syndrome can be given electrolytes, oral bicarbonate or Pepto-Bismol. Another treatment for the early stage of Floppy Kid Syndrome is giving the goat 4 ounces every 4 hours of a mixture of 2 teaspoons baking soda and 1/2 teaspoon salt in a quart of water.
