Every dog is different, but I would expect a 1-year-old GSD to be maturing but still puppy-ish. I would expect much (if not all) of the mouthing/land-shark behavior to be over, however I’d still anticipate having an active dog who needs structure, exercise, boundaries, and consistency in training.
